Catherine Shirer 80 born in Rocky Mountain North Carolina move to New York City as an infant born to the late Mary Braswell and the late Robert battle. Catherine went to public school and graduated high school here in New York City she grew up on Gates Avenue Brooklyn New York later on in life she met her late husband William shirer and married in October of 1954 from that Union they had seven children Denise schirer Diana Hogan Robert Shirer wife Denene Thomas. Martin Gaston Shire shatavia Bosher Crystal Thomas she leaves her two sisters Annie mae Eason Margaret battle 13 grandchildren and one sister in law and Edna James. Nine great-grandchildren a host of nieces nephews cousins and numerous friends.
