Gladys Diaz was born on May 8, 1952 to Heriberto and Brunilda Perez. She was the third child out of 8 children. At the age of 12 she met the love of her life, Sigfredo Diaz who was 15. They fell in love and a year later were married and started their family. In their unity they had 4 daughters, Sophia, Lisa, Annette and Jeanette. As the years passed their family expanded and they were blessed with grandchildren. In 1996 her life changed when she lost her husband of 30 years. Nevertheless she found the strength to continue being the wonderful mother and grandmother that she was.
Gladys meant alot to her community. She was a mother, grandmother (aka Nana) Auntie,etc. figure to everyone. She was loved bu everyone in the community. She loved to do the puzzles on her phone, she loved to play the game trouble, she loved virtual glasses watch TV shows and loved her family dearly. She was reunited with the love of her life, her husband on Thursday August 2, 2018 .
She leaves behind 4 daughters, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one great-grand on the way. She also leaves behind 1 sister, three brothers, 1 brother-in-law, 3 sister-in-laws, 3 son-in-laws, 1 daughter -in-law, three granddaughter-in-laws, and one grandson-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, 2 brothers, 1 sister, half brother, half sister, 1 sister-in-law, 2 brother-in-laws, her mom and dad.
