Obituary for Fernando Musler

Print
Fernando Alfredo Musler, known as "Dino" was born March 27, 1946 to Ivy and Augustine Musler in Panama, Colon. He attended Uruguay High school and shortly after married his wife Patricia in 1967.
Fernando migrated to the United States and served in the United States Army until he was Honorably Discharged in 1972. Fernando settled in New York City where he raised his family and was a committed employee at the Board of Education as a custodial engineer until his illness prevented him from working. He retired in 2016, however, he returned to work in a part-tine capacity due to his strong work ethic.
Fernando had a special zest for life and all who knew him could attest that he really loved the finer things in life. On any given day he could be found looking and dressed his very best.
Throughout his years Fernando creatively earned a living using his wit and his hands. He was an excellent painter and could fix anything with the gift of his detailed handiwork.
He enjoyed the comradery of his friends in the BMW club and loved to be around people. He enjoyed good food, a good drink, and good times. Fernando is best known for his cheerfulness, sense of humor, and ability to make people laugh.
He departed this life on October 16, 2018. He was preceded in death by his son Mario; and is survived by his daughter: Migdalia and Monet; grandchildren; Damario, Brianna, Jayden, and Mikayla; brothers; Carlos and Augustine; sister: Amelia; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
