Obituary for Rommell Goode

On April 23rd, 2018, our Heavenly Father decided to allow Rommell to peacefully rest in His Heavenly Kingdom.
Rommell Richard Papoose Goode was born on August 12, 1979 to Corliss L. Sweat and Robert Brailey. Rommell was raised in Brooklyn, New York where he attended Boys and Girls High School. While in high school, he played his favorite sport, basketball. During his time on the Boys and Girls High School basketball team, he played as a power forward. In 1997, Rommell graduated with his high school diploma.
On May 6th 2007, Rommell met his soul-mate, Naianasha Russell, the love of his life. After two years of dating, Rommell and Naianasha wed on December 23, 2009 in Brooklyn, New York. Rommell enjoyed cuddling, and quiet, intelectual time with his wife. The loving couple were together for eleven years and married for nine blissful years.
Throughout his life, Rommell helped friends and family in numerous ways. He assisted others with finding jobs and career readiness. Although Rommell worked many jobs during his adulthood, he specifically loved his role as Supervisor at City Field-Mets Stadium.
Rommell loved to laugh , and he especially enjoyed playing jokes on his wife , family and friends. He enjoyed making his sisters smile and playing tricks. He also loved playing chess, basketball, music and watching movies. He was a leader and the "Enforcer" for those he loved. He was extremely intelligent, giving, protecting, and he was a scholar. Most of all, he was very handsome and loving.
Rommell was preceded in death by his beautiful mother , Corliss L. Sweat, and his grandparents Mrs. Josephine Goode and Mr.Richard R. Goode.
He is survived by his "rider" and unconditional , loving wife Naianasha Goode; mother-in-law Angela Russell; his father Robert A. Brailey; his step-father , Bobby Sweat (Laurie); father figured, Lawrence Sealey (Arleen) and Paul White; his sisters; Sparkle Sealey, Danielle Sweat, Crystal Sweat-Morris (Aaron), Latanya C. Brailey , and Victoria E. Brailey ; and his brothers; Airmen E3 Levar K. Sealy, Charles Dinkins, and Joshua Young; a host of loving aunts,uncles , nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
