James Blue was born April 28,1931 in Bennettsville South Carolina to the late Pauline Blue and John Blue. He was educated in Bennettville South Carolina. He came to New York and worked in the New York City department school as a custodian. He retired from McCory's. He will be remembered for always wanting his dip and snuff. He was a community man and he was very supportive. He loved to sit outside and talk to his friends. He was a great father and a great grandfather. He was always someone you could rely on. He was joyful and was always in good spirits. He used to tell stories to his grandchildren about their grandmother.
Unfortunately God called him home on June 4, 2018. He is finally resting in peace and not enduring anymore pain.
He leaves behind his wonderful family.
