Obituary

Not so long ago on October 21, 1954 in Queens New York, a baby boy was born to a husband and wife, the late Mr. Claude Raymond Webb Jr. and Mrs. Harryette Kinsley Webb Jr. and Mrs. Harryette Kinsley Webb.
As his journey of life began, in the dimension of sight and sound, Claude Raymond Webb III attended The High School of Music and Art located in Manhattan NY, where he graduated in June of 1973.
Claude also known to his family and friends as "Ray" went on to work for various agencies, learning multiple skills along the way. Claude was certified as a specialized ACS/OASAS counselor, Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor, Acupuncture Detoxification of Substance Abuse Consultant, as well as a SYVA analyzer, just to name a few.
Claude also received special awards and recognition such as the Patient Productivity Award and the Dual Focus Challenge Award(Ambulatory Services). He was also given the City Counsel Citation as an outstanding Citizens for services to his community( Counseling). Alongside of these accolades Claude Raymond Webb III was passionate about helping others and making a difference in the lives of those he came into encounter with.
In January 2013 Claude Raymond Webb III became a member of the Unity East Church Center, located in Brooklyn N.Y. where he served as a Platform Associate. At church he facilitated Sunday services in leading the congregation in guided meditation, Organized Sacred Security, and assisted in Church Bazaars. He was also leader of the Men in Ministry Team where he conducted monthly men's meetings. Claude Raymond's electric smile and warm energy of love was what was first seen upon arrival as he welcomed all who entered the church doors on Sundays.
Ray was a bright light ; An Ambassador of truth, one who was a source of inspiration and encouragement. Claude Known as "Ray on the Spot", was always ready to go to the aide of others and give a helping hand. He was considered a father figure to all of his siblings, an amazing artist, an individual who loved to play chess and an avid reader.
Our "Ray of Sunshine" departed this life and transitioned into glory on Sunday December 26th 2018. We appreciate and are thankful to God for allowing him to share him with us. Although Claude Raymond's physical presence will be greatly missed here on earth, we know that God needed him more in Heaven. Claude Raymond Webb III will be remembered bu his siblings, Karen Ann Webb, Greenville NC, Robin Michelle Webb-Cannon (Everett Louis Cannon) VA, Anthony Duval Webb NY, Gregory Alton Webb III (Sharon A.
