Flavia aka “Virginie “Edward was born on In La-Haut, Saint Lucia on May 7,1964 to the late Antoine and Theresa Edward. She departed this life on August 30, 2019 at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.
She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters Kady Edward and Samantha Simon, Grandchildren: Brittany Edward, Ethan Simon and Paige Simon; Siblings: Patricia Edward, Regis Edward, Gina Edward, Gene Edward, Dunstan Edward, Gregor Edward, David Edward, Patrick Edward, Magdalene Eugene, Felix Anatole , Daniel Edward, Lister Gabriel and many other relatives and friends. Flavia was preceded in death by her brother Trini Edward.
Known for her kind soul and generous spirit, Virginie was always invested in the welfare of others. She offered patience, warmth and tenderness to any relationship cultivated and always led with an understanding heart. Throughout her entire life, Virginie represented a strong-willed and headstrong woman who couldn’t be knocked down, no matter the battle. She was very family-oriented and inevitably saw the best in everyone. She mostly enjoyed hosting family events, baking sweet treats, cooking , all things skin care and exploring everything the world had to offer her.
