Dear Joey, Felicia, Danielle, and Gabrielle,
Mrs. Gregory, the proud Brooklyn girl, called my mother Eula (her dear friend) her sister, so that means I am not only your friend but your cousin! Mrs. Gregory has left a loving indelible mark on my life over the last 40 plus years. I met Mrs. Gregory, her husband, and Joey when I was about 14 years old when they were visiting next door relatives in Charleston, SC and I have loved and held them in my heart ever since. To me, Mrs. Gregory was a beautiful, valued, educated, strong woman of principal and morals and was never shy to reveal it. I loved her feisty spirit! She lived life by her own principals and in her own way and I knew my mom loved her and her spirit when I was a child, and therefore, I grew to know and love her into my adulthood. She was a rare gem and helped to navigate me through some o life's difficulties. Mrs. Gregory and my mom are once again united in eternity. To my friends and "cousins' whom I love, may the peace and comfort of God's love be with you during this difficult time and may He hold and comfort you in His loving arms. "Oh that I had wings like a dove! For then I would fly away, and be at rest" -Psalms 55:6. Mrs. Gregory is at rest now and happy and at peace forever! I love love love you all!
